Yoh

A drawing I did yesterday of Yoh from 'Shaman King' at 10:00 PM. Yes, PM. And the scan (again) makes me mad. I'll fix the image later.

I wanted to experiment with myself and see if I could draw during the day instead of early morning. Again, I kept seeing Yugi and Yami popping up on the page, but refused to draw them. I finally said, "Allright, you want me to draw Yugi again? Fine," and picked up the first manga of Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duelist. But after I picked it up, I looked on another shelf (Yes, I have shelves of manga. I'm a manga freak. ^-^) and noticed Shaman King.

Suddenly, I picked up all the volumes I had (1-6) and went back to sit on my bed. I was thinking in the back of my head that I wanted to draw Manta and Yoh. But as soon as I opened the first volume, I read the whole thing. >.< So after that, I drew Yoh.

I really hope you guys like it because believe me, it was so HARD! The style was a real pain. (Not that I don't like it) I spent two and a half hours working on this thing. And it was NOT easy. I kept falling back against my corner wall and hurt myself a few times doing it. (Hit my head against a pushpin, hit my back on the actual corner) But I kept pushing myself to do it and I'm very pleased with it. I didn't even get the facial expression I wanted. >.< But I still like it.

Wanna know something weird? I didn't tell you guys this when I originally posted it. Sorry. Well, I was drawing him when I suddenly noticed a thin line of blood. o.O I know, creepy. So I wiped it off, and it looked as though it was never there. o.O I don't even know where it came from; I wasn't bleeding. Does that mean something? Creepy as. . .creepy.

I already have respect for Takei-sensei, (Hiroyuki Takei, creator of Shaman King) but doing this picture really ups that. He draws like this all the time! I don't know how he does it. But that's the magic of manga-ka's, isn't it? ^-^
